How do beadlock rims work?
Beadlock rims are designed to prevent the tyre from slipping on the rim under heavy off-roading or when the tyre is deflated. They work by clamping the tyre bead to the rim, thus preventing the tyre from separating from the wheel. This is accomplished by adding a second ring to the wheel, called the beadlock ring, which bolts onto the wheel and presses against the tyre bead, locking it in place. This allows for lower tyre pressures to be used without the risk of the tyre coming off the rim, which can improve traction in off-road conditions. 
When using beadlock wheels, it is common to “air down” the tyres, which means reducing the air pressure in the tyres. This is done to improve traction and stability on off-road terrain by increasing the tyre’s contact patch, or the area of the tyre that is in contact with the ground. Lowering the air pressure also allows the tyre to conform more closely to the contours of the terrain, which can help to reduce the chances of getting stuck or damaging the tyre.

Black Rock Off-Road wheels are covered against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials under normal and intended use. For the original retail purchaser, the wheels carry a lifetime structural warranty for the products lifespan under normal and reasonable use.
Finish Warranty:
- Painted and Clear Coated Wheels: These will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and intended use for three (3) years from the date of retail purchase.
- Chrome Finish: This warranty covers peeling and separation of the plating surface from the wheel for one (1) year from the date of retail purchase.
Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not apply to:
- Wheels not purchased from an authorized dealer.
- Any malfunction, defect, or failure caused by improper maintenance, transport damage, accidents, abuse, or negligence.
- Corrosion or cosmetic issues resulting from car damage, chemicals, climate conditions, or neglect.
- Blemishes, peeling, or discoloration on the back side of the wheel.
- Damage or structural failure due to road conditions, accidents, off-road activities exceeding the load rating, or road hazard impacts.
- Damage from improper mounting, excessive vehicle loads, or incorrect tire sizes.
- Appearance defects in wheels mounted after purchase or damaged during tire mounting and balancing.
- Wheels damaged during shipping or handling (inspect shipments and file damage claims with the delivery carrier).
- Accessories supplied with the original purchase (e.g., wheel nuts/bolts or hub rings) are not covered under this warranty.
